Interview questions included asking about previous roles, experiences in research and a few targeted questions regarding case scenarios and what would I recommend in certain example situations. Example situations included things like a company wants to increase time spent on a certain section of their web page, please role play or describe how you would present your recommendations including type of research, timeline and number of participants.

The phone interview questions were more about my experience and my education. I sent a written analyses report based on my master thesis to my second phone interviewer to demonstrate my ability to analyze data and communicate data. The onsite interview questions were varied. It includes some basic interview questions (e.g., Why Samsung? What product you use Samsung? What your experience can help Samsung?), some technical questions (e.g., machine learning, neural network, python, reduced dimensions), and some hypothesized questions (e.g., if we have the questions of xxx, what type of data you need? how do you analyze the data? what the data can tell us?)
