Show me an A-Z of your design process.
What are the processes you generally follow?
This is not a question, but the in-house skills test required on-the-fly coding knowledge, which was intimidating since I have just been copy and pasting so many trivial pieces of code over the years. I consider myself very advanced; I don't think having a "cheat sheet" handy or something of the like really effects a coder's level of skill. In fact, I think it makes the process much smoother and faster.

They need the ability to set the pricing on an order by order basis depending on supply/demand. In general, this UI wouldn't be terribly difficult to organize well but in this situation, with the pressure, it was difficult to think things out clearly.

At one point we talked about some assumptions that I might have made regarding the hypothetical smartphone users of the project I was asked to design.
