Rejected on the basis of "we have decided to proceed with candidates who have displayed more experience/drive for creating/managing diverse and inclusive environments at work" but the only question that was asked in 75 + 45 minutes of interviews relating to DEI was "How diverse is your team?" I suggest that if this is truly what is important for them, they put more thought into the questions asked. It's actually an insulting response given that I currently manage a very diverse team and strive for inclusion at every opportunity - but was never asked relevant questions to give me the chance to provide more details.

applied online thru linkedin. Recruiter reached out via email to setup a call day/time. 1st call day/time came and she didn't call. I rescheduled. 2nd call day/time came and she didn't call. I was really leery at this point and scheduled another. Her reason for the not making the calls "it landed on my calendar for today " her words not my own. Finally once we got on the call she came across very cross examining and not polite almost hostile in her questions. I was pretty taken aback since she was unable to meet her previous call dates/times. Sometimes companies have really poor people at the gateway of their business, but once inside it can be a great company to work for. So I went thru the screen and gave her full control to see how this would go. The call ended with her poor demeanor leaving me with a poor view on the process. She said that she would get back to me Friday with an update. I didn't have a positive outlook working with her, but I really liked the company so I followed up. Friday came and no email or call. nothing. I followed up again and a week later the same thing no response. Finally I received an email that said "As mentioned for next steps, I’ll visit with the hiring team on Friday and will follow-up with you." Sometime passed again and didn't hear a thing back. I've read reviews on here before and I've thought some are folks that are hurt by not getting thru the process. This is not one of those folks merely an experience of working with someone who shouldn't be a gatekeeper to Meraki hiring process.
