Working with people who have MS can be challenging because they themselves are dealing with physical challenges. Talk to me about a situation where you had to deal with someone that was disbaled. How did you respond?
What did you do besides party in college? - maybe one of the funniest questions I have ever had. How would you add value to the property?
They want to know that you can balance requests from multiple departments and intuitively prioritize them based on the event you're producing. They'll also ask questions about how well you communicate your production process *Hint* Internal Communication is HUGE - over communicating is preferred and explaining every step you take is important since you'll be working with people who aren't necessarily producers but responsible for the success of the event.
Are you willing to work late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays?
You will often have to manage several events at a time, across several different event venues. How will you manage this workload and prioritize daily tasks?
I was asked if I would be able to manage the restaurant since they needed someone there at 6am and they had 24 hour room service and needed to be staffed in the restaurant for that. I was applying for a special events manager, but I was willing to work in the restaurant if needed .
