How do I keep up with new technologies within the IT industry?
1-> 9 question mainly (work, percentage, speed&dist, few other topic ) difficulty:slightly below average 15 question multi-threading java, difficulty: above average (personal opinion because i was not in touch with that topic for long) 15 question java output based code (do-while , if else , switch)(difficulty :below average/average again personal opinion because i have spent time in these practices ) 2->interviewer seemed younger than i expected and din't answer any cross question i might have . can't complain it was exactly what you should expect from company in such position . long ,detailed , polite . i was allowed enough time to answer . hardly cleared it because I couldn't answer question to best of my ability in many topic like UML ,Sevlet ,puzzle .later realized i could have scored much more point in this round . question in order : servlet ,non http protocol (din't know any except file and simple mail transfer), css, xml,SOAP,sql query like insert delete inner join ,API and its types(heard it first time they have type ) ,php and its syntax, 2 puzzle (could not answer first, round concluded before second ) . was asked if i was ok to work for support was about to say "NO" until she cleared she was not talking about customer support. 3-> note : i was kicked in this round. y din't you mention your industrial training in resume .question where r u from ? how did u come here was it comfortable .it gets messy like extended shift and all common stuff of these days . i am usually good at answering these question but i lost it ,may be because i was pissed by first few question and response on their answers. example : i told her i din't mention industrial training in resume ,because all i did was took java tuition from DUCAT which doesn't qualify for being industrial training since i din't learn things like business ethics, how IT industry operate ,organizational behavior or did any cool stuff myself things that industrial training aims to exist for . she responded that no these are not the things industrial training exist for ,i wanted to continue further (if these are not things they exist for i must mention 8+ years of industrial training because that long i have been taking tuition) asking her point but restrained myself under influence of different people different perspective and you must respect that . how did you come here was it comfortable how will u manage its not a 1 day job it gets messy here (extended shift ) and in my mind i was like if i wasn't ready to manage i would not waste an entire day precious time of your's and mine by showing up for interview . i know i have to travel 4 hours everyday, i know its not a 1 day job. realized i should go for more expected answer so i did. when can u join ? i responded today which i was told not a appropriate way of answering i realized it may seem rude to some extent corrected it by quoting" i can join at your convenience " .response wait at reception(waiting lounge) for feedback . later told you din't clear this round . it was good round in which i could have performed slightly better and secured the job if there was any opening at all .
