what is priority and severity
Imagine that you are about to begin an engine test. You hit 'Start' on the computers and nothing happens. Walk through the process you would take to troubleshoot the possible errors with the test.
The interviewer had the code from the previous interviewee still on the white board in the room. He asked me to identify what the code did (printed the contents of a binary tree through a BFS using a queue). Then asked me to identify the bugs with the code and suggest how to fix it (null-pointer exceptions when printing out the values from the queue and checking for nulls before adding a value to the queue).
Generic questions related to work ethics
Questions were mostly on my previous experience and some very basic testing related questions. The interview was for banking domain and so all the questions are in and around my banking experience and what types of testing were done during my previous projects.
the one I remember - how your rate yourself in out of 10 , I replied her 30 .........because she think she calling from Microsoft ........Hahahaha
