A lot of questions revolved around how/if I could fit into the organisation, it's culture, it's way of doing things - as if it's somehow completely unlike any other organisation (whereas it has similar issues to others, just worse!). This is a bit of a self-obsession the bank has, it seems... it's used to excuse ignoring, denying or excluding newcomers to the bank.
Scenario related questions pertaining to position.
1. What is HTTP Header? 2. How do you gain trust of the members of a new team as an engineering manager 3. What are best coding practices that guarantee a successful automated testing practices ?
Behavioral questions like tell me about yourself, asked about my product experience, why I am interested in this role. Technical questions like the architecture of my current product.
Most questions were focused on my prior experience, touching on topics such as architecture decisions, technologies, and project management.
