Standard backend and frontend questions
Several questions regarding describing how or what I was proud of doing in the past and questions for me to describe my failures (which was awesome) and what I learned from them. Questions about working to learning. Question on how I addressed an issue I didn't know anything about. It was the most thoughtful interview.
Architecture based Rounds of interview
How much reactJS experience do you have?
1- codesignal - 4 qs (2 easy, 1 medium, 1 hard) I solved first 2, paritally accpeted test cases for rest 2- tech 1 - Questions on spring boot advance level, java concepts, angular, observables, dsa medium question. Overall the interviewer was good and responsive, as I wasn't able to come up with all spring boot queries, I tried coming up with idea, of what must be happening, and surprisingly, that's exactly what it was. His response to each explanation of mine, took discussion deeper and made it more interesting. 3- tech 2 - Interviewer arrives 5 min late, I start with intro, and straightaway he asks spring AOP, next 10 minutes goes in depth, though I wasn't clear about some technical terms like pointcuts, he asked me also about their different types. Then he goes on mute and video off for another minute. Later he asks few question on stream, and hibernate, and I was able to come up with perfect explanation and examples, which he himself didn't seem to have idea about. It was merely 15 minutes of allocated 1 hour, and he says - I'm done, recruiter will reach you for feedback. Post 2 days, I receive rejection mail. The second round was really hilarious, and I'm unsure why big tech companies like Visa have senior sde's who just reject candidates seeing their face, or whatever, really have no idea, why the hell was it soo short, and I getting rejected. Though I've faced rejections before, but its first time, I've faced an impertinent interview, without any sensible reason. I mailed HR stating about this round, but as expected, no reply from.
