The interviews were nicely divided and not repetetive. They tried to know me not only technically but also had beavioral questions. Initial interviews were about my experience, my current role, what are my interests, why am I looking for a change, etc. Some of the technological questions were on topics such as: OIDC, SAML, SSO, AWS, S3, etc.

3. Take-home coding exercise This is where my interview experience got horrible. They want it in Go (I was transparent, I'm new to Go). They want 2 solutions to solve an ETL problem; (1) simple solution, (2) handle a large data set (1M data records), store data a DB of your choosing, and want the whole solution to take up no more than 1GB memory & 10GB disk space. They give this same coding exercise to SWE, SRE, and what seems all engineering focused roles. (Past recruiters and their HR team have warned the hiring manager about this practice.)
