Why do you want to work at Jane Street? Asked to write a program (in language of choice) that took a name and a sequence of characters (as, for example, the name "jump" would be assigned the sequence 'ABC' in a simple video game). Needed one method to store name-sequence pairs, and one method that would print any names associated with a sequence of characters entered by the user.

2 dice. My dice- 20 side 1-20. The other player 30side 1-30. We both flip. If my number is bigger then the other player gave me my number of dollars, vice versa. But if we got the same number , I pay the other player the number of dollars. What is the expected value of my winning or lost ?

Specific interview questions are confidential; I will only note that they were probability problems and some basic game theory. No fancy math, though some problems did require a trick as the straightforward approach would take way too long.
