My original hire interview was for a Facility Supervisor position as a contracted consultant. The interview consisted of about 1 hour in my manager's office fielding experience and technical questions background experience with employers. After the interview, a site walking tour lasting about 1 hour was performed. On that visit, machinery was referenced, and specific issues related to operation or maintenance were posed. These questions were answered satisfactorily and the exchange was candid.
If you had 3 production lines. 2 were hitting rate and 1 was having difficulty what would you do.
I had to do some tests in order to evaluate my level of creativity, as this job requires a level of creative input. We were also asked some problem solving questions and client management questions.
I was asked if I was prepared to handle and deal with a constantly changing environment.

Lots of questions asked but the one that stands out in mind was something along the lines of "how do you measure velocity?" mostly because I wasn't totally happy with the answer I provided immediately after the call and would have revised my response a bit.
