If the no. of candidates who have cleared the writtens are more, the interview is an elimination round. It is important to be honest and earnest. The most important question would be "what do you expect from this job?" To give a convincing answer without sounding insecure nor arrognant is important.

Be prepared to answer questions to why you do things rather than what you do, especially about your failures and shortcomings, which is fair enough as it shows growth and reflection, but be prepared to not be believed even when you are being honest.
