Basic questions about my experience
I am mainly concerned about your experience, you have a lot of experience in research but limited experience in the industry. In real world, not like in projects, you have changing deadlines all the time, and you have to multitask, juggle with different projects. For example, one of your managers are going to ask you to do a task, another manager is going to tell you otherwise, you have to keep everyone happy and get the job done. How will you do this? Your two year “project” is squeezed into one month “job” here. Give an example where you had to meet multiple deadlines. What is your favorite alloy that you worked with? And process? And why? If we asked you and trained you to cast, will you go ahead and cast. Some of the engineers are actually wanting to sit and not be involved in putting their hands dirty in the environment, sitting with their laptops and plugging numbers in the computer/ How will you do to learn when you first start? Statistical package use?
