They asked what I would do if an old lady could not walk to the supermarket because people did not shovel their sidewalks(there is a city ordinance saying you have to shovel the side walks). I have also heard they ask about how you feel responding to calls that are nuisance and not necessarily police business. They are big on community policing/service.
Who you are as a person?
They go over your entire life, so its best to be honest, If you are caught being dishonest at any point your processing is stopped.
You will be asked what has prepared you to be a Police Dispatcher, what you know about the city/agency, and situational questions on how you would react in certain situations.
Scenarios given as to how to handle emergency situations and how you would respond. Provide an example of how you would handle when a fellow employee broke the rules.
