There were no difficult or unusual questions.
Basically, firstly they want to know your previous salary structure and comparing to your present expected salary. This is disgusting behavior.
First was some general questions: What was your PhD research about? Did you have industrial experience? What did you think of your strength and weakness? Then the engineer mentioned a type of their sensor products, and asked some specific technical questions about it.
While on "holiday" you get an exciting new idea. How do you share it with the team?
