I remember from the first time they tried to hire me about a year and a half ago (turned it down because I wasn't going to leave FTE for a contract) that they are using dot1x and likely with MAB as a backup. Happy to actually talk with them about how I could assist with managing their networks at any time, they just need to remember that they wanted to do so and show up for the next interview they tell me they want it.
There was nothing unexpected.
previous experience in network design and planning.
Basic questions about networking. Ventured into their infrastructure and how to resolve certain issues.
Situational questions, how would you handle this going down, or this issue coming up, etc.
If I felt suited to working as a solo, without a direct team, and responsible for my own attendance, hours, and motivation to get the job done.
