Lead Supply Chain Interview Questions
51 lead supply chain interview questions shared by candidates
Had good sensations with the first two interviews (with human resources officer and with operations manager). Very straightforward questions about my background and how would I manage the 9-people team I would be in charge of (I did not have people management experience, so pretty reasonable questions). Last two somewhat worse. With CEO I did not feel as good as in the previous rounds, but overall I think I performed good enough. I guess I did not get an offer because of the interview with the Human Resources Director. A very young woman with psychology background. Typical questions from psychology-background people: what kind of leader you are, how would you solve conflicts within a team, etc. But when I asked her questions about the company, she did not know almost anything. It gave me a really bad impression: she seemed to psychoanalyze me, and at the same time, she did not have a clue about what the company was doing. I am wondering how she can know if I am suited to the position. Last but not least, the position was good, but the salary did not match the responsibility. I brought it up and said that with approximately 10% more I would sign up. The thing is not that she did not agree, but the manners: she was harsh in saying she surveys the market and it was a reasonable salary (it was not, but was really interested in the position anyway). Finally, Westwing said they would come back to me in one week. After 12 days without notice, I contacted them first by phone (no one picked up) and then by e-mail. They called me back by phone 3 days later. In this case, it was the human resources officer that interviewed me first who called me. She said they could not match my salary expectations. I said: ok, no problem, I take your first offer. And then, she replied: no, but there are more things. They replied late and were not clear. At this point, if they reconsider my candidacy, I will sure decline.
