3 hr coding challenge which was easy and I still don't know what he was trying to ask in the phone interview. They need to have a definitive question ready rather than making something up on the spot. If they didn't make it up on the spot it surely seemed that way.
Create functionality of map() using pure Javascript

I was also given a problem to solve during the interview, I had few minutes to think about it and present my solutions. The problem was quite nicely demonstrated and I was given the opportunity to clear any ambiguities. The interview itself was, as I mentioned earlier, a great experience and even had time to discuss few other technologies.
How would you tell another developer that they are not doing what they should be doing?
Do a test task and tests, types, linter and stuff are optional.
