Interview
I received a phone interview that was very friendly and primarily just inquired a bit more detail to what I had on my resume. Next, I met with a District Manager at the store about a week later. We proceeded with the interview at the local Starbucks for the break room at the store is extremely small and can only fit a maximum of two employees at a time. We interviewed for approximately 45 minutes. The interviewer was professional but very dry so I could not gauge emotionally anything she liked or disliked in my answers. Two weeks later I received a call from RM confirming my background check was processed and officially offering me the position.
The District manager interviews in person and you can get passed on to a phone call with regional manager. They discuss the role, expectations, and alignment with brand values. Make sure to share any career wins with pervious companies. Also highlight your career goals and be specific with what you are looking to achieve. They will also ask you about real life situations you’ve been in so make sure to be specific. Include the situation, what actions you did to achieve or resolve, and what the result of your actions were.
