I am still waiting on an offer because I have not had my second interview, so I am putting no in the offer section
Basic interview questions- asked what do you know about WGU?
I do not remember any especially difficult questions. They are standard questions, although it can be challenging to answer them on the spot on the phone. The phone interview is difficult because of the lack of contact or face-to-face communication.
This is the usual "most difficult student" and transferable experience questions.
Standard behavioral-style questions (i.e. tell me about a time when...)
Pretty much what you would expect. No surprises. The online testing was the most surprising because you go into it without a clear idea how intense it is, how lengthy the test really is and that there would be so many seemingly irrelevant questions and timed activities you have to complete. But apparently this must tell them a great deal since it is the first filter for moving forward. I can bet it does separate out candidates since some probably quit or don't take it seriously only to find they do not advance. So, put on your thinking cap but realize you can't study up for this test!
Most questions were standard interview questions focused on understanding your personality and fit or getting a better idea on what your research is/will be moving forward.
