Most of the questions were straightforward, behavior based questions. When you had a difficult decision, how did you handle it? Tell us about a time when you had to show compassion on the job. etc.
Most questions were behavioral "tell me about a time" questions. The psychology test was mostly made up of, "Tell me about your favorite psychology study having to do with X topic." This required that you have a pretty extensive knowledge of psych, which is a key skill for the role. I have now been at LifeLabs for over a year, and I can directly connect every question I was asked to a skill or knowledge I need to do my job well. Yes, the process is different than most interviews, but it allows them to hire an incredibly diverse and talented group of people.
What's an example of something you did that was out of your comfort zone?
Most questions were expected asking questions about considerations for different populations and how I understand wraparound. I heard that they look for responses about how you understand your role on the team, how to work collaboratively with community partners and that you ask clarification questions about potential concerns you may have about the case.
