I got a face-to-face interview but I did not get an offer. Possibly because my salary requirements were too high for them - though I only asked what would be DC-area competitive for someone with my credentials (PhD and 3 years analyst experience). Neither of the Content Directors with whom I interviewed had a PhD, though they would have been my supervisors or peers. One of them had been in her position for less than 6 months because the previous content director had left the company. Sounds like turnover is really high at this place.
I can't recall a specific question. It was the usual questions such as "tell me about your experience".
Has a manager ever given you feedback that stung, but was needed at the time?
Need to do an oral presentation about one of the animals in front of your interviewer. You are given a script in advance and must memorize it, add your own style and present the information in an entertaining and informative way. This is the job, so they want to see how comfortable you are speaking.
