They were interesting in specific dates of employment, down to the day. I'm guessing they are looking for gaps in employment history.

It's one that comes up time and time again - How would you deal with a stakeholder in your project who is pushing back and doesn't want to make the change that you want to make. I babbled on for a while about showing them the statistics and proving the change was positive etc etc. I think what they were really looking for was that, if all else failed, I would be prepared to escalate in order to get the job done. This question and answer has stuck with me since this interview!
