I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at eBay (Netanya) in Jun 2019
Interview
First an initial phone call with HR, then a 30 min phone call with an engineer, asking general questions about the area of expertise and knowledge. Then 3-hour frontal coding interview, then frontal design interview, then a conversation with the future manager, then
HR interview.

Interview
Had a first interview with a manager and product owner. They asked about my previous experiences, a few behavioral questions and I was told I would move to the next stage (technical test).
After that I didn't hear from the company anymore. I waited for a day and tried to reach out to the recruiter but I was just ignored.
By reading other interviews here, it looks like this is a common practice of eBay, so expect to be ghosted.
I applied online. I interviewed at eBay (San Jose, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
HR interaction was great throughout the process. Had a 1 hour coding round to begin with followed by 5 virtual onsite rounds. 3 of the interviews were focussed on algorithms and Data structures. One of them was with the hiring manager who was very friendly and did a great job answering questions I had. Overall seemed like a nice to team to work with. Only bad experience was during one of the rounds when I felt the interviewer was quite rude. The questions were around general distributed systems but they had made up their mind on what the right answer was so the session was not very productive.
