I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at eBay (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2015
Interview
Interview was done with two people in the room. They asked me to give them a quick overview of my career so far, then asked me to do an SQL test on the spot as well, which was a bit awkward as I wasn't informed that would be a part of the process and I had people actually watchingthe screen as I typed.
After that they went into how I'd solve specific problems they are currently facing - some of them quite tough, but it was also an interesting conversaiton to have.
All in all - nice people, parts of the interview were kind of tough, but nothing too unpleasant.

Question 1
Provide an example of a situation where you used modeling to improve a business process?
Standard out of the text book questions in most of the rounds. Some of the interviewers asked about probability and really some tricky questions - but that was just one or two guys. But most of the questions were very easy and even if you had brushed up your algo skills once, you can answer them very easily.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at eBay in Apr 2015
Interview
I got a brief phone call to schedule the first phone interview. The first phone interview lasted around 20 minutes and it's the typical customer service interview. The interviewer wasn't that great, I bit bored. Overall I had a positive experience though. I was invited to the proper interview but I had to decline due to strict ebay schedule. There was no room here, they had a fixed date to start and I couldn't start of that date.
