I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
A brief telephonic chat and then a day long back to back interviews with hiring manager, peer functions (product) and senior technical engineers and an architect. Meet up at the lobby and then move to a conference room in one of the buildings.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at eBay in Dec 2013
Interview
Phone screens, coding challenge. Phone screens were mostly about things on my resume, and the coding challenge was an algorithmic/applied question, that seemed pretty fair to me. I was given a week or so to complete it. Recruiters in general were nice and were responsive to emails. Interviewers also were very knowledgeable, so it was not an entirely easy process.

Various questions about classes I had taken and things on my resume.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at eBay (Austin, TX) in Jun 2013
Interview
Two-step interview process. First was a phone interview, then in-person. Spoke with a really nice person on the phone. The face to face interview, the man was also nice. They called me within 2 weeks to let me know that I had an offer, and asked what shift I would prefer.
