I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at eBay in Oct 2025
Interview
Interview was very professional. I enjoyed answering some really insightful questions about my previous experiences and how I handled them. I was given tools to study to learn about the company and what they offer to the public.

How I’ve dealt with customer complaints in the past!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (Londres, Inglaterra) in Aug 2025
Interview
I applied online, got a call on the phone from a recruiter to briefly discuss my experience, the company and the role. This was about 2 weeks after applying. I was then scheduled for a call with the hiring manager within the week. During this interview I was asked to talk in detail about my experience and the hiring manager had a list of technical questions prepared from which he was selecting randomly. They were all fair questions based on the job listing and requirements, the job listing mentioned application security, and questions were asked about this. Unfortunately my skills were a rusty after taking a break so I was not able to answer some of these as expected. At the end of the interview the hiring manager gave me direct feedback about my answers, so I got to know and understand the outcome and reasons fast. I did not progress to the next stage.

hiring manager interview: reasonable questions based on the job description and CV experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at eBay (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Went through the entire process and was not contacted for almost 2 months by the recruiter despite sending numerous emails asking for an update. I was eventually rejected by an automated email. As someone who has interviewed at some of the largest tech companies to start ups this has by far been the most unprofessional and disappointing process.
