I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (Tel Aviv) in May 2014
Interview
pillar interview --> manager interview--> HR interview--> director interview--> presentation--> local site GM interview --> refferals.. this was multi stages but rather quick process with short loops of notifications. the interviews was mainly to check my skill set as i wasn't part of the e-commerce industry. at the end a background check was added to the complexity of the process
The communication appeared unprofessional and unfocused, and it did not reflect the kind of environment where I would want to invest my time or expertise. the people there did not seem friendly
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at eBay (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward. Initial call with a recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager and then 3 additional hour interviews with leadership. There was definitely some confusion between the interview scheduler and one or two of the interviewers. No crazy curveball questions. Took a few weeks to hear back on the final answer and I had to follow up quite a few times asking for the decision which was frustrating.
