If you have created a middle ware that stores the request log in database and let suppose in writing it takes 5 min, and you have written async method, so your thread will wait for complete writing log into DB or will it leave the thread and application process goes on and redirected towards browser? And let say in writing log some exception occurs then what will happen? will the application got crashed? How do you handle this?
