Mostly they asked behavioral-based questions and also about my grad school research.
Most of the questions were based on my research. There were also several behavioral questions. They asked every single detail of my research project- 1)Why I am doing it, 2)How I am measuring certain parameters (Need to explain with technical details), 3) What are the future implications of my research outcomes. Also I was asked if I had to do any equipment troubleshooting and how I did that. There were a lot of open end behavioral questions. There are no right answer for those. Whatever you answer, you need to convince them with your logic.
What, for you, is an ideal career?
Asked many RF theory and device questions (smith chart, transmission line theory, transistor design etc). Some interviewers asked very difficult questions and others were easier.
