I imagine that this sort of this is quite relevant when hiring C++ engineers and they were fair and well structured problems. The problem was that anyone who has been spending their time working on Linux device drivers or kernel development has most likely not going to be well versed in template syntax. I am not.

They'll make you take a Thomas GIA assessment as part of the process. It's not very hard, but I'd recommend doing some research beforehand on the questions and formatting. With proper preparation you should be able to get good marks. Good luck!
