Tell me a project you worked on
Talk about projects done. Given a case study how would you solve this? Again this is to just get a bunch of solutions from candidates because their internal staff is perhaps inept. So all they are doing is soliciting free consulting advise. The key thing to understand here is that the hard part is what to do. Once you reveal a solution path, they can just follow up and do it with their staff and they don't need you.
I interviewed with the hiring manager, and 2 leads from cross functional teams. Questions included my background/experience, leadership style and problem solving skills for technical and team lead situations.
Second Stage Interview Questions (with 2 team members) The interview focused on product thinking, stakeholder management, and marketplace strategy. Questions that I can remember included: Tell us about yourself and your product management experience How do you prioritise when multiple stakeholder requests compete for attention? How would you approach internal vs external growth initiatives in a marketplace context? How would you design internal products or define metrics to support marketplace stakeholders? Tell us about a project that didn’t go as planned — what did you learn? Walk us through your product management process from discovery to delivery Who do you typically collaborate with as a Product Manager? Why are you interested in this role at Treatwell? The discussion was thoughtful and focused on strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
