Do you mind taking a 3 days of tests? Required 3 days of tests at the Duke testing center. Tests were pretty hard and not relevant to the job at all. Discussed tons of science such as uranium fission, glad I have several degrees and was able to pass the tests. However, seemed a little strange that the questions were so far from project costs, not related to the work at all.

You are given a quiz to test your ability to create a CPM schedule with 20 or so activities and then denote the critical path and some other details about the schedule. You are given as much time as you need to complete the quiz.

Describe how a PID loop works. What parameter do you adjust when the process variable is unable to reach setpoint. How would you go about troubleshooting a PLC problem? Asked me about safety PLCs and what I know about them. What is difference between a permissive and an interlock. I had trouble saying it, and he gave me his answer. He knew that I understood the difference but just didn't know how to put it in words. Overall, great people who are very motivated.
