You are allowed to write down interview questions, however you cannot take that information out of the interview room. Focus is on the STAR method of interviewing. A majority of the questions may not be directly related to the job duties of the position (if I remember correctly). Interview seemed unnecessarily difficult.

The typical: give us an example of one time when you negotiated rates? Or had to discuss challenging situations with suppliers. Very standard and non exciting questions
Interview #1: After the weak beginning, the VP begins with "Tell me about yourself." He wants to know "What makes you who you are?" Interview #2 and #3 are properly conducted, and we have intelligent conversations about the job / profession.
