The interview was actually really simple and pleasant. It's conducted by one person and starts with mostly very general questions (greatest strength / weakness, tell me about yourself, goals, why should we hire you). Then they ask you about why you want to apply for Sainsburys in particular (rather than Tesco etc).
How would you deal with a difficult customer
Name a time you dealt with a difficult customer and advise the process you took
They ask you questions regarding your CV what you did and why you left. -Try and aim it to show you have an interest in banking or a relevant sector.
There wasn't one specifically difficult or unexpected question but it is important that you prepare a lot of examples of team work, dealing with difficult customers, using your initiative etc as the panel interview deals primarily with this type of question.
