A logic assessment was required; 20 minutes to solve 15 puzzles. This was an IQ test type assessment of review series of images (as many as 8) and selecting the missing image. I've taken military intelligence and Mensa tests that were vastly less difficult than this assessment.

"How do you think more seasoned interpreters will take your leadership seriously if you're not nationally certified?"
Tell me about a time you disagreed with management decision, how did you handle this?
I was not asked a difficult or unexpected interview question. All questions were standard, rudimentary interview questions. My background was discussed in great detail and how it related to the position.
We had a conversation. She never asked questions. She seemed scattered and unprepared.
