One question that stood out was about the key risks Qonto may face when transitioning from a payment institution to a fully licensed bank, and how internal audit can support and secure that growth. It led to a very interesting discussion around regulatory expectations, governance, risk management, and scaling controls in a fast-growing fintech environment.
One question asked was how I identified and managed a significant audit risk during an engagement.
