Without a mentor or predecessor (job vacant over a year), how would you set out to learn the job? (Specifically, the process in question).
Like any interview, be ready to talk about your work and education experiences. Relate your experiences to the job that you're interviewing for. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Have examples to back up your answers. Most importantly, BE YOURSELF. A few questions that I can remember from my interviews are: If you could have any job in the world, what would be your dream job? What is your claim to fame? Is there a difference between management and leadership? If so, what is the difference? Do you see yourself more as a manager or a leader?
