One-on-one interviews were standard and involved engaging conversations with friendly and qualified members of the hiring department.
Their questions were mainly behavioral. So they would ask you to tell them about a difficult situation you were in and describe what you did to overcome that situation.
They asked for a lot of specific examples of situations I'd encountered in my professional experience: examples of negotiating, following a company policy I don't agree with, helping someone in a difficult situation, etc.
