What qualifies you for the position
This was 'VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS!!! VERY SERIOUS!!!' LOTS of extra words and flourishes to ask basic questions (noticed someone wrote the same thing in 2018 for the same position!!!). I guess they want the people in admissions to pretend they are all scientists and laureates and probably ALIENATE applicants and families. Might just be a private snobby school thing. This summer I've gotten offers for Admissions Counselor-type positions and basically spoke the same way as today, and did not have to pretend I was something I wasn't during the interview process (and sadly I turned those offers down because they would not budge more than 55k).
