Did not get a call from the recruiter but first received an assessment to gauge some sort of aptitude. I've done these before, though never before interviewing. Definitely wanted to pass on this interview. Weird
Great process! Straight forward questions and team was nice to chat with. They touch on your background and get to know you better. I recommend looking into them, based on the conversation we had they will be growing.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ZoomInfo
Interview
The recruiter was very rude and unprofessional with my interview process. I went through 3 interviews and a take home challenge. The recruiter sent me the prompts for the challenge only an hour before the interview to go over the challenge on a work day that I had meetings at my current job. Needless to say, I was not prepared sufficiently. The recruiter was very combative when giving me an update on the process and told me it was my fault for not knowing more about what was expected on the challenge. When the recruiter called me to tell me I did not get the job, they told me how much better the other candidates were and how terribly I did in the previous interview and how unqualified I was for the position. I was personally offended. When you have been looking for job for months, it is very demeaning and offensive for a recruiter to tell you how much you are lacking when you have 6 years of corporate experience. It seems like this is a typical corporate tech environment with unrealistic expectations from management in a high-stress atmosphere. After this interview experience, Im done with tech.
