I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zara (New York, NY) in Dec 2015
Interview
I was invited for a group interview session by email after applying online.
I arrived at the corporate office and there was about 15-20 people. We were first asked to fill out an application as we waited that asked general question about us, our past experience, availability, and references.
We then handed those applications along with our resumes in.
It was said to be a group interview but then they started calling us in one by one to individual interviews, however they were very short and basic.
After they called my name the interviewer and i sat in a room where he first reviewed my hours and availability, he then asked me about my past retail experience. He asked me what my responsibilities were at my previous job. and lastly he asked me "Why zara?"
This took less than 5 minutes & then he asked me to move to a larger room to wait. There were two other people in the room and a video was playing on the screen about Inditex. We waited there for about 20 minutes, nobody else came in. Later the interviewers came in and right away told the three of us that we had been hired.
They gave us the company handbook and packets to fill out. We spent sometime filling those out, and we were told our starting wage and starting date.
It was so much easier than i expected, actually too easy
It was very casual, they took me into the back and asked me questions. I felt very comfortable and it was a smooth process. I would totally recommend interviewing with them
