I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ZS Associates
Interview
The recruiter was timely and friendly. I enjoyed speaking with the hiring manager during the Behavioral portion. However, the case portion was not relevant to the position I was applying for. Do not apply for this position if you are actually expecting to analyze data and offer decisions for businesses. The case question was just to calculate profit and market shares. If you are not interested in Finance, this is not the position for you. I learned that the hard way. I did not have any finance background, nor was I interested in conducting Financial Analysis, and when it was made clear during my case interview; my interviewer was rude and condescending. I expected a normal consulting case question, where there are no right answers and they want to see your analytic skills when receiving data. However, when I tried a creative approach, she told me I was wrong and only had to calculate the profit and that is it. Not what I was expecting or my area of study.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Pune) in Sep 2017

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Bhubaneshwar)
Interview
The process was rather unclear and ambiguous. Initial aptitude and english tests were taken, qualifying which case studies were given. Time period for case study was 40 mins, after which interview relating to the case study was supposed to be taken. But, everything went on in a haphazard manner. Some candidates were asked for telephonic interview, while some were subjected to physical interviews. Some were to appear both telephonic and physical interview. Overall, it was a rather unclear process.
