I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Princeton, NJ)
Interview
Applied online. Had a phone interview. Went in for an in-person interview. Phone interview was not difficult. In-person interview was the most intense interview that I have had and was almost a full day. It has been a while, but from what I remember there was a behavioral interview, a structured case, unstructured case, demo of the type of work you would perform, and a lunch. You don't have to get the case interviews correct necessarily (but that is definitely better), but you need to explain your thought process clearly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Nueva Delhi) in Feb 2014
Interview
The entire process took ~1 month. It started with a phone screening by a recruiter. This was followed by a written test and a 30 min phone interview (mainly resume based questions, guesstimate and puzzle).
This was followed by a case interview (30 mins to work on case and 30 mins interview with a consultant) and finally, an interview with a partner.
The case interview was the most difficult part in the process.
