I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at World Food Programme (Seúl) in May 2020
Interview
Interview was quite straightforward. Most of the questions often pertain to previous experiences, areas of strength/weaknesses, etc. Depending on which location you intern at, you should expect to be able to be bilingual in English + any other language
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at World Food Programme in Jul 2025
Interview
The interview was held on Microsoft Teams with the hiring manager and the team manager. The team manager asked most of the questions and focused mainly on what was written on my SOP. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.

Question 1
What can you provide to the WFP’s humanitarian approach?
I had a really pleasant experience during my WFP internship interview. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, which helped ease my nerves. The interview lasted around 30-45 minutes, and it felt more like a conversation than a formal assessment.
Too many math questions that don’t match the job description . For an internship job the aptitude tests are unfair ( but then again , it’s how they shortlist people)
