I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wipro (Hyderabad) in Nov 2017
Interview
Pathetic Organization. A pathetic sense of time. Pathetic conduction of interviews.
It was by far the most gruesome and inconsiderate process I have ever experienced. There were close to 40 experienced Java Developers waiting in line for them to called. Each of us was sent an email with a dedicated slot. However, the interview call came 3 hours after the slot ended. In summary, each of us waited 5 hours to attend just one round of interview. Add to that, the first round was a simple telephonic interview (which brings me to the question: If you had to do a telephonic round, why not take a skype call from the applicant, from their home? Why would they need to come all the way to your location, wait 5 hours and then take a telephonic round?). With the long tiring hours of waiting, a minimum requisite expected was drinking water (at the bare minimum), a clean washroom. None of them were easily available. We had to scour for the washroom and water coolers were arranged somewhere within the working area that needed access cards to enter. None of us had that and so we had to wait for an official everytime we felt thirsty. The cafetaria was closed - even for buying water. Tea or coffee was way out of question.
All this - Plus, each interview was done in a span of 20 minutes - meaning each candidate was taken in - one by one - with an interval of 20 minutes. When asked, why this was happening, the HR had only one thing to say - "If you can't wait, you can leave!".
Pathetic Organization. A pathetic sense of time. Pathetic conduction of interviews.

Interview
I had a horrible experience of interview at Wipro Digital. Shocked by incompetent recruiting process.
After finishing 2 rounds and waiting for almost 4.5 hours after that, 3rd round F2F was conducted. And this was the most horrible one. I don't remember the interviewer name but he was the one sitting just opposite to the entrance gate. I would like to highlight the questions asked by him.1. What are people waiting outside talking ? What are their reviews about me.
2. They must have told you all the questions which i have asked. Are they comparing me with the other interviewer ?
3. Am i selecting too many candidates today and rejecting only few ? - Which interviewer asks these questions? And how would i answer these questions ?
4. You are from Telecom domain but we want people from BFSI domain. - Why did you even bother to call me for interview then? Does domain really matters ? It should be knowledge of technology and expertise in the language on which interview is scheduled.
5. What is your current CTC ? What is your Expected CTC ? - Why did he even ask this? He is there to ask me technical questions no matter how tough it is. He started judging me based on my expected CTC and was surprised to hear my current CTC. That time itself he decided not to recruit.
6. For formality he asked me around 10 questions on multi-threading and i answered each of them, and he had objection on neither of my answers.7. He asked me to leave for the day.8. 8. I asked him about the feedback of the interview asking whether i am missing something? Are there any areas where i should improve? - His answer was i cannot tell you these things and will tell hr.
Have never in my entire life seen such kind of person.I mean people like these spoil the organisation's name. Shame on the recruiters and the process. Will never recommend friends and colleagues to join such organisation which doesn't value people.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wipro (Chennai) in Aug 2017
Interview
One round of technical, one round of technical manager, and a HR round (didn't happen for me though I cleared the previous rounds). After the technical manager round, was asked to wait for the HR round (nearly 3 hours of waiting) but later the HR came and informed that he will do the discussion via telephone.
