I met Wayfair at a college job fair and was encouraged to apply by a couple of friends working at the company. I applied for the Category Associate position, but was given a Business Analyst interview. There were no phone calls or preliminary interviews--only a final round interview. The interview was called "Wayfair Blitz Days", and a group of 8 of us were interviewed at their headquarters in Boston. The day started with a presentation from their VP of Marketing, followed by 3 one hour one on one interviews that each examined a different aspect. The first looked at business sense, next if you fit in with the Wayfair culture, and finally a problem solving question. It was something about if you apply a 10% coupon code to all purchases and the average purchase price is x, how many more people will need to make purchases to make the 10% of coupon worth it.
