The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Bengaluru) in Jul 2023
Interview
2 coding + 1 System Design
Coding was directly copy pasted from a LC Hard / Medium level. Interviewer was not a seasoned interviewer and was looking at LC optimal solution, than interested in anything else. HM was arrogant . Would not recommend this company to anyone.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Bengaluru) in Dec 2023
Interview
There were 3 rounds
1. Hackerrank - had sql and 2 dsa question
2. API Design, given an API had to transform the output into specified formats there were 3 variations. The interview experience was good
3. DB Design - Parking lot. The question was easy I felt that the interviewer was under pressure he randomly blurted out that i was not replacing him and till the end even after all other rounds went well this person kinda made it his life's mission to not let me through. Turns out he was asked to leave a few months after so things were pretty tough for him i guess.
4. System design. Don't remember the exact question but wasn't too difficult. We ended up talking about my opensource contributions and it was a good chat
5. Director round - A bit technical then we dwelled into behavioral round was a nice conversation and was assured a nice workenvironment if i were to join.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wayfair (Bangalore Rural) in Mar 2024
Interview
