1. Initial HR interview: why join, walk through resume
2. Case study Interview: brainstorm a case study with a manager related to device tracking
3. VO: 1hr coding (numpy code up a machine learning algorithm from scratch), 1 hr behavior (went through a project you owned, what to do when met certain work situation, describe collaboration with other teams), 1 hr for each of 2 case studies, questions were pretty vague, they just read it for you, no whiteboard, when mentioned a deep learning approach, interviewer couldn't get it, I thought case study can ask questions for clarification, but apparently depends on interviewer as one interviewer simply say no, and didn't provide any thinking direction, I answered question with specific math formular, but I was asked to name the formular.......instead of correcting or guild me, but more like compete with me to show off somehow)
4. Rejection received the other day, principle HR was very professional, and truely care about candidates both in future growth (provided detailed feedback and suggestions to improve myself) and in mental/emotion care (some kind words).
Overall, the interview experience was not bad. I practiced a long time in Leetcode problems, but failed in runing codes as time was up, need to be familiar with numpy methods
