I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA)
Interview
There were two rounds, the first was a case study over Skype which lasted 45 minutes and the second was an in office two part interview which was half case and half behavioral.
I was contacted through LinkedIn for the BA position saying they thought I would be an excellent fit. I was put into contact with an HR rep who scheduled a phone call with me. She missed the first phone call, the second phone call, and the third phone call that was scheduled and confirmed. I contacted the LinkedIn member who messaged me and was later told that i was the reason for the miscommunication (even though after every scheduled time I messaged the rep and asked why she never called) and that they were looking for someone with more experience.
The hr rep was incompetent, unorganized, and terrible at her job. I was not even allowed to conduct the phone interview after questioning why the rep had completely missed the first THREE attempts at the phone screen.
I applied online. Got contacted by a recruiter shortly. The phone screen interview asks typical behavioral questions. I was then scheduled to talk with the hiring manager. It's a case interview so I wish they scheduled me a video interview rather than a phone interview. It's hard to walk the interviewer through the case via a phone call.
